Venezuela’s Supreme Court made a decision. They fined TikTok $10 million. The reason is that TikTok did not stop viral challenges. These challenges caused the deaths of three children.

The court said TikTok has to pay the fine. They have to pay it to the National Communications Commission. The money will be used to help the families of the children who died. The court also wants TikTok to open an office in Venezuela.

The court made this decision because of a complaint. A group of people complained that TikTok was not doing enough to stop viral challenges. These challenges are hurting children. The group wanted the court to do something to stop TikTok.

Venezuela’s President, Nicolás Maduro, is not happy with TikTok. He said that TikTok is not doing enough to stop viral challenges. He wants TikTok to remove these challenges from the platform. The court’s decision is a result of the President’s concerns.

TikTok has to do something to stop viral challenges. They have to make sure that children are safe on the platform. The court’s decision is a warning to TikTok. They have to take responsibility for what happens on their platform.

The Venezuelan government has taken action against social media platforms before. They blocked access to the social network X for 10 days. This was because the owner of X, Elon Musk, said something that the government did not like. Many Venezuelans use special software to get around the block.

The court’s decision is important. It shows that the government is serious about keeping children safe online. TikTok has to take the court’s decision seriously. They have to do something to stop viral challenges and keep children safe.
